for the ones who want every review to count twice
Goal
Re-touch the week's core concepts on an expanding 1/2/4/7-day cadence so each one consolidates.
Source principle
Spaced repetition: spreading reviews over time embeds material more deeply than massed cramming. : from Make It Stick by Brown, Roediger & McDaniel.
The plan
- ๐ท๏ธMonFirst touch on each new concept. Tag it with the date + a one-line summary.
- ๐TueQuick recall: 2-min brain dump per concept. Mark each as 'easy' / 'fuzzy' / 'blank'.
- โฑ๏ธWedDaily 5-min queue check. Fire any recall window due today.
- ๐ThuMixed recall: shuffle the concepts, recall each in random order.
- ๐FriMid-week shuffle: re-order the queue. Don't always recall in the same sequence.
- ๐ฏSatRecall the 'fuzzy' pile only. Skip the easy ones today.
- ๐งชSunFinal test: write a 1-paragraph answer to a question on each concept, no notes.
- โ๏ธSunPrune: retire any concept you got cold 3ร this week. It's consolidated.
- ๐SunPick next week's first concept to re-touch. Plan the cadence.
