๐Ÿ›ก๏ธAnti-Multitask Full Day

The One ThingOverachievers ยท Full Day ยท Full DayHard

for the straight-A chaser who prides themselves on multitasking and is quietly burning out

Goal

Run one full day with a single priority at the center and everything else batched around it.

Source principle

The Six Lies (multitasking works) + Time blocking: single-task the one thing at the center, batch the rest into narrow windows. : from The One Thing by Gary Keller.

The plan

  1. ๐ŸŽฏ
    6:30-6:35 AM
Ask the Focusing Question. Write today's One Thing before any input.
  2. โ˜•
    6:35-7:00 AM
Coffee, no phone. Sit with the One Thing.
  3. ๐Ÿณ
    7:00-7:30 AM
Breakfast + write the day's plan in 3 lines. One Thing first.
  4. โฐ
    8:00 AM-12:00 PM
4-hour time block on the One Thing. Phone in another room.
  5. ๐Ÿฅ—
    12:00-1:00 PM
Lunch + a walk. No screens. No email.
  6. ๐Ÿ“ฅ
    1:00-2:30 PM
90-min batched email/admin window. All of it, then close.
  7. ๐Ÿช
    2:30-3:00 PM
    Break. Snack, step outside.
  8. ๐Ÿ“š
    3:00-3:30 PM
30-min learning block. One resource, no scrolling.
  9. 2๏ธโƒฃ
    3:30-4:30 PM
60-min second-priority slot. NEVER the first. Always after.
  10. ๐Ÿƒ
    4:30-5:30 PM
Exercise. Move the body. Off the desk.
  11. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ
    6:30-7:30 PM
Dinner and unplug. Work is closed.
  12. โœ๏ธ
    9:00-9:20 PM
Evening review: write tomorrow's One Thing. Just one.
  13. ๐Ÿ“ข
    9:20-9:30 PM
Read tomorrow's One Thing aloud. Lights out.
